Macrame Planters Workshop at RHS Bridgewater

This workshop will equip you with all the skills you need to create your own macrame plant hanger. Choose from a wide selection of recycled cotton cords and t-shirt yarn to create your design.

Your tutor, Kim Searle, will guide you through all the knots you’ll need to get started. These can be used as the building blocks for lots of other macrame projects. There will be a variety of different designs to choose from and you’ll leave with at least one finished plant hanger.

Please note, a plant pot is not included in the ticket price.

Tutor: Kim Searle, Darn It!
Kim has been leading creative workshops for 10+ years under the name Darn It! Workshops,  She also co-runs a sustainable textiles CIC, Thread Republic. She studied textile crafts at Huddersfield University, including a year abroad studying in France and Finland.

Location and Arrival Information: The workshop will take place in the Learning Studios, situated within the Welcome Building

Catering: Tea and coffee will be provided 

For this workshop you will need: All materials are provided, a plant pot not included.
